About Our Studio
Raise The Barre is a Tulsa dance studio where our dancers are our top priority. We believe in focusing on both personal and technical growth, supporting our students both inside and outside the studio. Our focus is to create a safe and welcoming environment for all students while pushing our dancers to be their best selves.
We offer a variety of classes, such as Acrobatics, Ballet, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Jazz, Lyrical, Tap, and more. Levels from beginning to advanced are available for dancers aged 3-19.
Additionally, our award-winning Competition Team allows students who want a more competitive atmosphere to grow and perform at their highest potential. We offer opportunities to participate in solos, duos, trios, and group routines, competing against other studios from across the country.
Stephanie Cox
Owner/Office Manager/ Videographer
Stephanie grew up up dancing and knew that as soon as her daughter was old enough, she would be introduced to the world of dance. Thankfully, her daughter Hailey fell in love with dance and Stephanie fell in love with being a dance mom. She brings her excel skills, organization, and parent perspective to the team... and has somehow become the videographer during classes with no recognizable videography skills.
Maranda Blumenthal
Ballet/Contemporary Instructor
Maranda comes to us with over 10 years of teaching experience, on top of the number of years she danced herself. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance and has danced with many companies in the Tulsa area. Maranda hopes to inspire a new generation of dancers as they explore the importance of strong technique and embracing the ability of expressing their feelings.
Allison Basnett
Owner/Office Manager
Allison danced for 10 years until she found her love for track and field. After her three daughters were born, her love of danced returned. Her girls competed in all genres of dance until they graduated, and she is so excited to continue this journey with her RTB family.
Acro/Lyrical/Jazz Instructor
Brooke Lambie
Brooke has been dancing ever since she can remember. She was a character performer at Disney, then went to dance as "Gabriella" from Disney's "High School Musical". After attending AMDA for Performing Arts and becoming a full-time mom, Brooke has decided to continue teaching the classes she loves and devoting her free time to her RTB family.
Haylee Whitney
Contemporary/Tap/Hip Hop Instructor
Haylee has been dancing since childhood and teaching since they were 17. They danced competitively for 4 years and then chose to become a coach and choreographer. Haylee has choreographed musicals, and both competitive and recreational routines in a variety of styles. They are so excited to help their students improve their technique as well as learn how to emotionally connect to their dances and express themselves onstage.
Dayla Kelley
Dance Combo/Ballet Instructor
Dayla began dancing when she was four years old and quickly developed a boundless love for ballet. After taking classes for 14 years, she started teaching at Raise the Barre. She hopes to inspire and encourage young dancers the way her teachers always did for her.
