
Acrobatics
*Levels 2-4 Teacher Approval
Acro will help teach tricks from beginning cartwheels and chin stands, to aerials, back handsprings, and more. Your child will be placed into acro classes based on their corresponding acrobatic skill level. Focusing on balance and flexibility, your child will be learning tricks that transition to dance or cheer.
Dress Code:
Any color top that's plain and fitted, hair must be pulled back out of face. Barefoot, no shoes. NO JEANS, JEGGINGS, OR JEAN SHORTS
Ballet
*Levels 2-4 Teacher Approval
Ballet instruction will focus on technique associated with the Vagonava Ballet Academy of Russia, with an emphasis on French terminology. In class we will work on body and foot positions, proper placement, turn out, balance, alignment, feet and ankle strength, and flexibility. This class is the base for all other styles of dance and is HIGHLY recommended for recreational classes. Ballet is MANDATORY for Company Classes.
Dress Code:
Black leotard, pink tights, skirt or black dance shorts, and ballet shoes. Hair must be pulled back into a bun.
Contemporary
*Levels 3/4 Teacher Approval
Contemporary will blend technique and ideas predominately from ballet, lyrical, and modern dance genres. This will help develop use of the entire body in movements expressive of abstract ideas. Throughout the year, dancers will learn to discover new ways of using music and sound in relation to dance, as well as developing their improv and choreography skills.
Dress Code:
Any color leotard, solid color or black leggings or dance shorts, and tan half-shoes. Hair must be pulled back out of face.
Leaps & Turns
*Level 2 Teacher Approval
Leaps and Turns is for intermediate and advanced dancers. We will work on improving balance, strength, and flexibility while mastering a variety of leaps and turns. This class allows students to focus on aspects they learn in other classes, but might not have time to master. Skills such as center leaps, turning jumps, pirouettes, a la seconde turns, firebirds, and so much more will be focused on. Dancers wanting to add advanced skills are HIGHLY recommended to enroll in this class in addition to their core classes.

Any color top that's plain and fitted, solid color or black leggings or dance shorts, tan tights, and tan jazz or half shoes. Hair must be pulled back out of face.
Jazz
*Level 3/4 Teacher Approval
Jazz will focus on learning proper dance technique such as isolations for the body, improving performance quality, and improving flexibility and strength. Class will include warm-up, stretching, center turns, and across-the-floor progressions including turns, leaps and kicks. Dancers will learn choreography to popular and age-appropriate music from the vintage classics to today's hits. This is the perfect class to begin training or to supplement other core classes.

Any colored top that's plain and fitted, solid colored or black leggings or dance shorts, and tan jazz shoes. Hair must be pulled back out of face.
Hip Hop
*Level 3-4 Teacher Approval
In Hip Hop, our dancers focus on improving their connection with their bodies, including learning isolations, control, fluidity, and much more. In this high-energy class, students will learn several styles of choreography, improve their coordination and rhythm, and develop their musicality and ability to quickly learn new combinations.

Any color top that's plain and fitted, leggings, shorts, or sweatpants, and tennis shoes. Hair must be pulled back out of face.
Tap
*Level 3/4 Teacher Approval
This class combines the traditional Broadway style of tap with more contemporary techniques and tricks. Dancers will learn basic steps all the way to advanced techniques like wings, toe stands, and triple and quadruple times steps. In this class, we focus on clean, precise sounds, improving timing and rhythm, and developing foot and ankle strength to ensure our dancers are staying safe while having fun.
Dress Code:
Any color top that's plain and fitted, solid color or black leggings or dance shorts, and black lace up tap shoes (split sole preferred). Hair must be pulled back out of face.
High Point Grabber
Ages 12+
In this class your dancer will learn many skills that add some extra "pizazz" to their Group and Solo Competition Dances. This class focuses on using proper technique and safely executing these tricks to ensure our students feel comfortable performing them onstage. They will learn skills such as aerials, a la seconde turns, switch leaps and much more!

Lyrical
*Level 3/4 Teacher Approval
Lyrical combines techniques in classical ballet and jazz. This class will include a warm-up, strength training, isolations, stretching, across-the-floor progressions, and choreography combinations. This class is for dancers who like precision, physical challenges, and are ready to express themselves emotionally through the art of dance. While working on flexibility and strength, dancers will learn to move lyrically through music and allow them to dance with open hearts.
